The law of attraction is quite the popular topic in the last decade or two. Books such as The Secret, Think and Grow Rich, and The Power of The Subconscious Mind have dominated best seller lists.
But I’m not here to talk about manifestation or law of attraction.
What I want to talk to you about is the truth of attraction, and the truth of getting what you want.
99.9% of the population chases.
They chase success, money, happiness, goals, peak performance, they chase a lot of things. They are constantly on the lookout for that thing. That one piece of advice, or tool, or life hack, that will finally get them to their goal.
But the truth about chasing, is that when you chase something, it runs.
The more you chase, the faster it runs.
The truth about getting what you want, is not chasing. It is devoting your life to orchestrating the inevitability of its arrival. It is orchestrating the events and the circumstances, to make success inevitable. The truth about attraction is not the Law of Attraction. It is becoming the type of person that thing you want is attracted to. The truth is turning your back on what you want, turning inward, so what you want chases you.
It is about devoting your life to orchestrating the inevitability of its arrival. It is orchestrating the events and the circumstances, to make success inevitable.
What do I mean by that? Let’s use an example.
Let’s look at money, something people chase more than anything else. They chase every last cent. They try to save as much as possible. They chase that next promotion to earn a few extra dollars an hour. They continuously look for the next side hustle, or the next big investment. Does this sound like you? There’s nothing wrong with any of this, there is no right or wrong. But it just never works, does it?
What if, instead of chasing money, you turned inwards and focused on yourself? What if instead of chasing money, you became the type of person that money is attracted to? What if you set up your life to allow money to inevitability flow to you?
What does that look like?
Well, the first thing you must understand is that money is an exchange of value. So to receive more money, you must create more value.
And no, that doesn’t mean working more hours. You have just been programmed to associate hours to money. But money has nothing to do with time and has everything to do with value created.
So instead of chasing money and working more hours, what if you learned how to create and provide more value for people?
What if you developed your knowledge, skills and abilities?
What if you learned how to run a business that employs other people to create value for customers?
What if you learned to develop a software that solves a problem?
You see, it has nothing to do with manifestation, it has nothing to do with ‘hard work’. It has everything to do with learning and understanding.
It has everything to do with creating as much value as possible for other people. In exchange for that value, they give you money.
Success is an offspring of learning and understanding.
If you want more money, learn to create more value. If you want more money AND more time freedom, learn to create a system where value is created without your direct involvement. These are called assets. Things such as rental properties, businesses with employees, software, apps, courses, books, you get the idea.
You are becoming the type of person that money is attracted to. You are setting up the circumstances in which money inevitably arrives.
The truth about money, just like happiness, and freedom, and peace, is that it is a byproduct. It’s not a goal, it can’t be a goal.
It’s a byproduct.
The truth of what we want, is that we don’t want the thing itself, what we truly want is the freedom from it’s opposite.
We don’t want happiness; we want freedom from misery.
We don’t want money; we want freedom from poverty & freedom of choice. The choice of what we work on, where we live, and the experiences we have. The freedom from being stuck in a cubicle for 8–12 hours a day.
Everything we want is a form of freedom.
The law of attraction may or may not work, in my experience, it does not. But attraction works. Look at the most successful and happy people you know and look at the evidence.
Are they chasing it,
or do they orchestrate their lives for its inevitable arrival?
Do they chase it, or do they set up the events, the systems, the circumstances, in which it naturally comes?
Look at the richest people in the world. Look at Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates.
Did they chase money, or did they build something that creates 100 times the value they receive?
The truth is obvious.
The truth about attraction in getting what you want has been laid out perfectly clear.
But I urge you not to take my word for it.
Do not believe what I or anyone else says.
You must experiment, and test it out for yourself, so that you KNOW, whether it works for YOU.
That’s all that matters.
If you feel in your heart that what I have said is true, and you KNOW it will work for YOU, then you will change and you will act.
There is nothing to ‘do’,
only to understand.
But if you just believe what I say and move on, nothing will change.
You will continue your chase for money and happiness and everything else you want.
You will never understand where the truth lies, because it is not in what anyone tells you to do.
The answer to getting what you want, does not lie in another how-to guide, or a new business model, or a new side-hustle, or a new habit, or a new mindset, or a new life-hack.
It lies in devoting your life to orchestrating its inevitable arrival.
The truth of attracting success, happiness, wealth,
is to become attractive.
